I really like this cookbook for several reasons. It is made for the south beach diet that is great for eating right and good for your health. Summer is my favorite time of year for the fruit and vegetables that are available. Their are great recipes and very good ones for breakfast. Recipes through out this cookbook use ingredients that I personally really enjoy. The meals are easy to prepare and very tasty.
We have the original diet book and wanted some additional recipes. Some of our favorites are missing from this book but worth it to get more recipes that fit the diet.

I have been on this diet for about 3 months and have lost almost 40 lbs. I was hooked when a friend lent me her copy of the "The South Beach 30 minute meals" cookbook. Have been able to maintain my weight loss and enjoy the food I am eating. I am one of the pickiest eaters out there and do not like cooked vegetables. So most diets have failed for me. I had another friend show me this book about 1 1/2 months into my diet and I wanted it but could not find it in bookstores. Someone suggested ebay and to my surprise there it was at a fantastic price!!! I have reviewed a lot of the recipes and know I will get a ton of use from it just as I have from my other book!!! I purchased this book so that I can increase the number of recipes available to me as I practice the South Beach Diet as a lifestyle. The recipes are easy to follow, prepared with every day ingredients found in any grocery store and the six recipes I've made so far have been delicious. The book is also laid out so that it's easy to know which recipes can be used during each phase of the South Beach Diet. I'd recommend this cookbook to anyone whether they were following the South Beach Diet or not!
This book has the most incredibly delicious recipes for all of the foods we have come to associate with summer. With this book, I know we will be able to stick to the diet, and still be able to entertain family and friends with (almost) all of the summer foods we have always enjoyed having during a backyard barbeque, or family picnic. All of the recipes I have tried are clearly written, easy to prepare, and absolutely delicious! It makes sticking to the diet a breeze. I can't wait to try them all.
