Save time trimming your casings.
This simple little tool saves a lot of time when it comes to trimming your shell casings. Whats also nice is that you do not have to deburr the shell when your done trimming. The only thing bad is that the trimming waste cup does not fit on the progressive reloaders. So I ordered a single stage from Lee which was very cheap and does the job. Laurel Z.

It May be good for some people
Im mixed in this review. Does it work? Yes Is it that easy? I would say No If you want to trim just a couple 1000`s I would say it works good. If you want to trim 100`s or more, your in for a work out. I find most factory 556/223 will run about 1.77+ after first firing. Trim is to 1.75, expect 3+ minutes of round and round to get there with this trimmer. I`ll stick to my power trimmer & save this for very precise trims.Im mixed in this review. Does it work? At this point, I wouldn't recommend it.
Well, I've only used it to trim 9mm brass, so far. I like that it chamfers the inside and outside as it trims but it's leaving a burr on the outside. Also, the outside chamfer blade bent. I took it apart and flattened it back out. I applied a little grease on the spindle and it seems to be doing a little better. I'm hoping it will do a better on larger diameter brass. NOT CONFUSED ANYMORE!!!
Once again, Lee has exceeded my expectations! When I first was getting into reloading, I was trying to choose a good press and components. While on my travels, I noticed that Lee was on most items, 1/2 the cost and sometimes more. My first thoughts is that Lee must not be "The Good Stuff" Well I was wrong. I went with Lee and have never been disappointed. I've been reloading feverishly for over a year, and have even tried some of the competition products. I always go back to Lee and I am NEVER disappointed. This product as well. Works awesome, and gives me the precision that I am looking for and now expecting from Lee products. A very useful tool for reloading by keeping the brass mouth pristine and of proper length.
The item does exactly what it's specifications state and that is what I wanted and needed. I have one for each caliber I reload. Therefore, I have a backup if needed and I am confident each time I use it that it's already setup right.
