Good for Frequent Night-time Urination (Nocturia) & Insomnia
Excellent product. I have used it for several years to combat frequent nighttime urination due to a chronic, genetic condition that causes my kidneys to be overactive. The elements of Pumpkin Seed Oil work on the kidney pathways to decrease the frequency of urination without causing the bladder to become overly distended/uncomfortable. My nighttime urination went from 6-8 times per night to 2 by just taking 1 soft gel before bed. I would take 1 at 8pm, and have to go urinate at 1230am and the next time would be at 5am. So in essence, I was going every 2 hours before using the supplement, and I cut it down to once every 4-5. Also, this is an excellent supplement for insomnia. Getting up to urinate a lot interrupts sleep, but due to my inflammation from my condition, it causes the brain to ... Excellent product. Inflammatory conditions like diabetes, SLE or Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, heart disease, etc., are directly tied to insomnia. I rest much better taking pumpkin seed oil before bed. It is also good for excessive hair shedding because it is a proven DHT or dihydroxytestosterone blocker, which is why many men use it for enlarged prostate, or benign hypertrophy of the prostate/benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). I am a woman and it is safe for women to take. My sleep took a big dive when I ran out of this supplement. Puritan's Pride is an excellent brand. I have been satisfied with buying their products from Ebay and from the Puritan's Pride website for many years now.
